PM Dato' Seri Najib announced that Malaysia & Singapore have agreed to a high speed rail. The KL-SG section will be about 400km and the travel time will be 90 minutes. Ready by 2020.
Compared that to car (300 minutes), bus (360 minutes), KTM (420 minutes) & flight (240 minutes, including commute to/fro airport).
It will be a "huge game changer" on how businesses are run in these 2 cities.
